About this website
We publish programme information, fees, dates and news in good faith and keep them current. Programme content, schedules, fees and delivery arrangements may change, and the version in force is the one confirmed to you in writing at the point of enrolment. Where a page here and an enrolment document disagree, the enrolment document applies.
Applications and enrolment
- An application is an offer to study; it becomes a contract only when we confirm your place in writing.
- You must give accurate information and genuine documents. A place may be withdrawn, at any stage, where information was misrepresented.
- Entry requirements are set per programme and per level, and we may ask for evidence that they are met.
Fees
- Fees are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees and are payable on the schedule given to you at enrolment.
- Where an instalment plan applies, each instalment is due on its agreed date.
- Access to classes, assessments, results and certificates may be withheld while fees are outstanding.
- Cancellation and refunds are dealt with in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Your conduct as a student
We expect honest academic work and respectful behaviour towards staff and other students. Plagiarism, impersonation in assessment, and falsified documents are treated seriously and may lead to a failed assessment or withdrawal from a programme. Our Student Code of Conduct sets this out in full.
Qualifications and awarding bodies
Where a programme leads to a qualification awarded by a partner or external body, that award is made by that body under its own rules and timelines. We do not control, and cannot guarantee, the decisions of an awarding body, a regulator, or any institution to which you later apply.
Intellectual property
The content of this website and of our teaching materials belongs to Harwest College or its licensors. You may use it for your own study. You may not republish, resell or redistribute it without written permission.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to websites we do not run. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
Limits of liability
We are responsible for providing the programme you enrolled in with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect losses, nor for interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute.
